Route described as “a secret tip for weekend trips”

Wizz Air, Central and Eastern Europe’s fast-expanding low-cost airline, has launched flights between Riga and Bergen. The flights are taking place twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.
Daniel de Carvalho, the airline’s corporate communications manager, described the route as “a secret tip for weekend trips” due to the days of the week it is operating.
“This is a truly exciting route with much potential for tourism on both destinations,” he said. “We hope our very low fares will keep the people of Riga flying.”
Riga International Airport is the Baltic states’ biggest hub, with 17 airlines offering flights to 81 destinations.
