Widerøe to open Trondheim-Tromsø in summer

“Good connections” to Sandefjord, Kristiansand, Troms, Finnmark

Widerøe says it will offer direct daily flights between Trondheim and Tromsø this summer, from June 28 to August 17. The Norwegian regional airline stresses that the new route will have good connections from Trondheim to Sandefjord and Kristiansand, as well as from Tromsø to destinations in Troms and Finnmark.

The service will be operated by Widerøe’s “new, fast and comfortable” Dash8-Q400 aircraft with 78 seats and a flight time of 1 hour and 40 minutes.

The airline commented that it was “pleased to be able to offer direct flights between important hubs like Trondheim and Tromsø and by this increase the total capacity on this popular route. Together with [the] increased number of flights between Kristiansand and Trondheim, the new route will make it really easy to fly with Widerøe between Northern and Southern Norway this summer.”
