Ryanair comes bottom of Which? survey, Swiss top

Ryanair comes bottom in a new survey of short-haul airlines published by UK-based consumer-campaigning magazine Which? compiled from its members’ votes. The result is Ryanair’s lowest approval rating ever in the annual poll, receiving a satisfaction score of just 34%.
The magazine said about the Irish LCC, about which there have been hundreds of complaints: “We were inundated with comments about Ryanair – many about its extra charges. This partly accounts for the paltry one-star ratings for baggage allowance, boarding arrangements, seat allocation, and food and drinks.” Thomas Cook Airlines came second-to-last.
By contrast, Swiss was top of the table, with an 82% satisfaction score and top marks for check-in, baggage allowance, seating allocation and staff. Turkish Airlines was second with 78%, Lufthansa third, Aer Lingus fourth, KLM fifth.
