Visit Tromsø has chosen Citybreak ™ for the development of their new responsive website which will showcase their picturesque region, and allow the visitor to choose and book from a variety of unforgettable experiences, including whale watching and the Northern lights.
Developing the new site with a focus on creating the optimal visitor experience and greatest engagement meant using the right products. Citybreak ™ Web is an easy to use, flexible Content Management System (CMS) that allows visitors to visualize products in a multitude of ways including dynamic map views, thematic content sections displaying rich imagery, and downloadable routes and tours.
Integrated with the website, the Citybreak ™ Information System (CBIS) will collect and easily manage all of the information and products about Visit Tromsø, both bookable and non-bookable. Furthermore, the CBIS permits all of the stakeholders in the local tourism industry to update information about their products in real time. The Citybreak ™ Central Reservation System (CRS) allows for the seamless booking and packaging of products, including transportation, accommodation, attractions and events.
