Riga’s hotel scene is a dynamic one, growing every year. There are more and more new hotels opening their doors and bringing additional rooms to the city.
Currently, the city plans to add an additional 2,500 hotel rooms to the current number within the next two years. Rezidor Group has already enriched Riga’s hotel scene with two Park Inn by Radisson hotels, and have since announced the opening of their first Radisson RED Hotel in Riga by 2020. Moreover, Mogotel Group will open an additional two Rixwell branded hotels in Riga’s city centre.
Accor Hotel’s group has already opened its first 5-star property in the Baltics – the Pullman Old Riga Hotel, with 160 guest rooms and eight meeting halls.
And that’s not all; the most anticipated new hotel openings in Riga are happening right now! The Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga started operations in September, offering pure luxury within their 141 guest rooms and seven meeting halls. The hotel has a premium Old Town location next to the National Opera House. The second 5-star property will be the Grand Poet Hotel by SemaraH, with 168 guest rooms, six meeting rooms, and an atrium for open-air events. This hotel also has a premium central location between two parks and is only a short walk from the Latvian Freedom Monument.
