New online TV channel launches with industry interviews

Reed Travel Exhibitions, the organiser of World Travel Market, has launched www.decisionmakers.tv, an online TV channel offering insight from the industry’s most senior and influential professionals.
The channel offers a series of exclusive video interviews with the travel and tourism industry’s leaders all year round. The website begins with an interview with John Bevan, managing director of Voyage Prive and former boss of lastminute.com, who calls the travel industry’s bonding system “a mess” stating that the company that sells the holiday to the customer should be responsible. He adds that online agencies are “lazy” creating “mass confusion” and “not helping the customer” by “plugging in as many hotels as possible”.
Each week different senior industry leaders will speak to the new online TV channel about key issues facing the industry. These will include top managers at TUI, Thomas Cook, Expedia, Cunard Line, Amadeus, CityJet, easyJet and Lowcostbeds.
