Following its sell out UK tour, Simon Beaufoy’s new stage adaptation of his own hilarious comedy The Full Monty arrives at the Noel Coward theatre, London, on 15th February 2014 and theatre breaks for The Full Monty are expected to be very popular with couples and groups alike.
The Full Monty follows the lives of six unemployed Sheffield men who see a way out of the dole queue and into nightclubs by forming their own unique male stripping troupe.
The new adaptation opened to rave reviews at the Lyceum theatre, Sheffield earlier this year, before starting a major UK tour. To keep fans of the film happy, the play still features songs from the film including Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones as well as new material and additional songs.
The smash-hit 1997 British film grossed in over £50 million in UK cinema’s alone and another $45 million in the USA.
Theatre Breaks owner, Simon Harding says: “This is NOT the American stage version set in Buffalo NY that failed to entertain London Audiences in March 2002. What was great about the film was that it meant something to UK audiences, so we are over-joyed that Simon Beaufoy has brought it home again!”
Theatre Breaks are combining tickets for The Full Monty with a range of three, four and five star central London hotels so that audiences from all over the UK can enjoy a great weekend away in London.
