Founded in 2000 as a part of Tallinn Tourism Office, the purpose of Tallinn Convention Bureau was to introduce Tallinn as a new conference and incentive destination. It was soon clear that this compact and technology oriented city offers great possibilities for planners and, therefore, was warmly welcomed by the meeting industry professionals across the world.
Soon after establishing in 2000, Tallinn City Tourist Office & Convention Bureau (TCTO&CB) became a member of the European Federation of Conference Towns (now European Cities Marketing). In 2006, Tallinn Convention Bureau was presented with the prestigious Geoffrey Smith Award, to acknowledge its hard work and contribution to the international convention market.
The Tallinn Convention Bureau has been internationally active and participates in several meetings, industry trade shows and workshops throughout the year. The bureau has been present at IMEX and EIBTM fairs since its establishment in 2000.
In 2000 Tallinn Convention Bureau started with one employee and 24 Estonian partners – in 2015 the team is three-membered and there are almost 200 local partners. TCB would like to thank all of our partners, local and international, who have supported us through these 15 wonderful years!
