Stockholm Travel Show to intensify market

Show to be staged at Central Station on October 23 and 25

With three fairs a year in central Stockholm, B2B events at the Casino Cosmopol and big-player exhibitors, the Stockholm Travel Show has become an established event on the Nordic travel market. The show will be staged again on October 23 and 25, and Martin Ahlberg, who is responsible for the fair, promises it will deliver on several levels.

“Stockholm Travel Show will simply and cost effectively intensify the market for Stockholm and Sweden,” says Ahlberg, who adds that his goal is to provide a central exhibition space with both a B2B and B2C touch.

The first edition of the Stockholm Travel Show took place in autumn 2013 in a shopping mall. It was moved to the city’s Central Station in May this year. With 250,000 visitors per day, it is billing itself as Stockholm’s most natural meeting place for the travel trade and guarantees tens of thousands of buyers every day. Regular exhibitors such as Taxi 020 and Viking Line and being joined by new exhibitors including Trinidad and Tobago, Benidorm, MTR Express, Serbia and Finnair.
