Show goes to Central Station in May and October
The Swedish capital’s new travel trade show, the Stockholm Travel Show, was recently held at The Galleria. But next year it goes to the Central Station, on May 8 to 10 and October 23 to 25.
“We have found the optimal location in central Stockholm we see her travel clusters and their flexibility for exhibitors as the natural home for a travel fair in Stockholm,” fair organiser Martin Ahlberg said.
“The proximity to consumers, commuter trains, the subway and traffic in general with all train, bus and taxi services to and from the City Terminal make the place absolutely unbeatable as a fair environment. Not to forget the great nearby hotels, money exchange offices, tourist information, airport traffic and Casino Cosmopol.”
Stockholm Travel Show is described as a national trade fair with a focus on all modes, seasons and segments.
Stockholm Central Station is visited by 250,000 visitors per day with 33% of their trips being work-related. Around 52% of visitors stay for at least 30 minutes in the area. More about the fair can be read at its new website, www.stockholmtravelshow.se.
