Europe, Australia and Asia services get attention
Singapore Airlines will be increasing frequencies to points in Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia and West Asia next summer to meet what it says is growing demand.
In Europe, Rome will be served four times a week from July, up from two at the moment. Moscow will be served five times a week up from four from May 30, which is when services beyond the Russian capital to the new destination of Stockholm are introduced.
In Australia, Melbourne will be served with 31 weekly flights from July 17 up from 28, while frequencies to Brisbane will rise from 24 to 28 per week from August 22.
From June 4, Sydney will be served 33 times per week, up from 31 – and to 35 weekly flights between June 18 and September 30.
In Southeast Asia, flights from Singapore to Bangkok will increase from five to six per day, with effect from March 26. Ho Chi Minh City will be served 19 times a week from the same day, up from the current 17.
Elsewhere in Asia, the Indian city of Ahmedabad will be served four times a week from March 26, up from three, while Dhaka in Bangladesh will be served 10 times a week from July 19, up from seven.
