Singapore Airlines has enhanced the features of its popular SIA Hop-on Bus offering, in line with constant efforts to improve products and services both in the air and on the ground.
The enhancements deliver an improved customer experience, by adding frequencies, lengthening ticket validity to 24 hours, and catering to non-English speaking passengers and passengers requiring wheelchair assistance.
Bus rides remain free for customers who have purchased Singapore Stopover Holiday (With Attractions) and selected SIA Holidays packages. Singapore Airlines and SilkAir customers who present a valid boarding pass will enjoy discounted rates at S$8 per adult and S$4 per child.
“Our customers have found the SIA Hop-on Bus a great way to explore Singapore at their own pace since its launch in 1998,” said Singapore Airlines’ Senior Manager Marketing Communications and Development, Mr Sheldon Hee.
“Following a tender, DUCK & HiPPO Group has been appointed as the new service operator. This latest refresh will add frequencies to the bus route, offer audio commentaries in ten languages and increase the fun factor with open-top buses. With these enhancements, we will be able to better serve a wider demographic of customers, whom we hope will enjoy the sights and sounds of SIA’s home base.”
The key enhancements are outlined in the table below and high resolution images of the buses are available upon request.
