ALIVE Entertainment in association with HIFM are pleased to announce Stereophonics, one of UK’s biggest live acts responsible for rock anthems such as Just Looking, Have a Nice Day and Dakota.
After a fantastic performance at T In The Park and headliners at V Festival this year, they’re coming to Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa’s amphitheatre on 12 November 2015 for what promises to be the biggest rock concert of the year.
Stereophonics are set to release their ninth studio album ‘Keep The Village Alive’ in September so their concert in Oman promises a reveling evening filled with songs you’ve heard before and some brand new tracks. Stereophonics are a Welsh rock band that formed in 1992 in the village of Cwmaman in Cynon Valley, Wales. The band currently comprises Kelly Jones (lead vocals and guitar), Richard Jones (bass guitar and backing vocals), Adam Zindani (guitar and backing vocals), Jamie Morrison (drums) and touring member Tony Kirkham (keyboards).
Gordon Mackenzie, Managing Director of Alive Entertainment said, “We are thrilled to be bringing Stereophonics to Oman for all the rock lovers in the country. Our goal as an events company is to bring the biggest and best names in entertainment to the Sultanate. There’s a lot more to come”
Shangri-La’s amphitheatre is no stranger to hosting extensive events, being the largest outdoor venue in Muscat. Mark Kirk, Area Manager and Hotel General Manager commented “After the success of Ed Sheeran back in February we are delighted to welcome yet another international artist to perform at Shangri-La Muscat. It is exciting to see the interest from the entertainment industry in Oman increasing and we are proud to be part of this development.”
