Tourist board aims to gain more visibility from visitors and trade
On a mission to gain more visibility from visitors, the trade and the public, the Seychelles Tourism Board has unveiled a new corporate website.
The seychellestourismboard.travel site was launched during the opening of the board’s mid-year marketing meeting, held at the Constance Ephelia Resort at Port Launay. Revealing the new platform were tourism minister Maurice Loustau-Lalanne and the board’s chief executive Sherin Francis.
The development and design process and sourcing the images and content took a year to complete. Features include industry events such as trade fairs, workshops and roadshows the board attends during the year, arrival stats, vacancies, newsletters and other tourism related details.
“Especially now that we are living in an age where there is a constant need to provide data to the general public, the website will serve as the platform on which as much information on STB will be added, so that our partners can have easy access to these materials,” Francis said.
