SAS adds further capacity to Tokyo

In the coming days, SAS will change its traffic program to Japan and fly extra trips between Tokyo and Bangkok. This will make it possible to fly more passengers out of Tokyo. This means that passengers who have a reservation from Tokyo to Copenhagen will initially be flown to Bangkok and then to Copenhagen.
The route from Copenhagen to Tokyo is cancelled the next day, but passengers will be rebooked to other airlines which fly to Japan.
Swedes in Japan can contact the Swedish Embassy in Tokyo, ambassaden.tokyo @ foreign.ministry.se or SMS +81 1990 3139 6005. Based on the current situation SAS offers rebooking or refund, even on tickets that normally cannot be rebooked or refunded. This applies to flights operated by SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK) to / from Tokyo departing up to and including 16th April 2011. For rebooking or refund, please contact your travel agent or airline where you bought your ticket. We ask you to refer to the State Department for more information about the situation in Japan.
