Airline suggests there could be 13 destinations

Low-cost carrier Ryanair says it will open a base at Copenhagen Airport next March and fly to three European destinations initially – London, Milan, Warsaw – with ten more to be announced early next year. The base will consist of four aircraft.

The airline forecasts more than a million customers a year with a new base at CPH, using an airport that has seen consistent passenger growth in recent years. It says it will operate 28 weekly flights to begin with, eventually rising to more than 100.

“Our three new Copenhagen routes with daily frequencies are ideal for business passengers and families booking their low fare summer holiday getaways,” the airline’s COO, David O’Brien, said at a press conference in the Danish capital.
