“Street event” is part of Nordic multimedia campaign across
The isolated but idyllic Indian Ocean island of Reunion is conducting a “street event” that is part of a multimedia campaign across Norway and Sweden.
On April 4 and 5, a bus decorated with ultramarine colours is hosting Scandinavian visitors to help them discover new overseas destinations, including Reunion, and inviting them to participate in a competition.
The move is part of Reunion’s recent accession to the marketing body Club Overseas Trump France. The bus will stop at two strategic spots – on Youngstorget in Oslo on April 4 from 12:00 to 19:00, and on Kunsttradgarten in Stockholm on April 5 from 10:00 to 16:00.
This exotic bus has been designed to include sand and beach chairs and is decorated with posters of different destinations. Two hostesses will be on hand to invite visitors to participate in a contest to take “selfies” using the posters of their choice as a backdrop. Prizes include trips to Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Martin and Reunion.
