More than 30 dinners to be created by 60 chefs this month
Relais & Châteaux, a global network of almost 500 luxury hotels and restaurants, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this month with a series of more than 30 dinners throughout North America and the Caribbean. From today, October 2, 60 chefs representing the chain’s restaurants will be creating some imaginative dishes.
On October 13, for example, chefs Raymond Blanc and Gary Jones and pastry chef Benoit Blin from Le Manoir aux Quat’saisons in Oxford, England, will join Colin Bedford, chef at the Fearrington House Inn in Pittsboro, USA, to make an eight-course meal.
On October 16 and 17, at Manoir Hovey in Quebec, Roland Menard and Francis Wolf of the hotel’s Le Hatley restaurant will collaborate with Mariano Gallego from Cavas Wine Lodge in Mendoza, Argentina, on an Argentine-themed seasonal tasting menu and cocktail reception.
