CSA plane makes emergency landing in Prague
The captain of a scheduled CSA Czech Airlines flight from Warsaw to Prague collapsed and died in the middle of the flight, forcing his co-pilot to take over and make an emergency landing in the Czech capital. The ATR turbo-prop aircraft had 46 passengers on board. The plane landed safely.
“The safety of the passengers was not threatened,” a CSA statement said. “The landing was conducted without complications by the second pilot. Unfortunately the life of the captain could not be saved.”
