Passenger taken off flight for jabbing snoring seatmate

Female passenger kicked off for poking man next to her with pen
A female passenger was told to get off a flight in the US as it prepared for take-off, after jabbing a fellow passenger with a pen for snoring. The victim and his friend applauded the decision, even though it delayed the flight for two hours.
The incident happened on board a Southwest Airlines Flight 577 from Chicago to Manchester, New Hampshire. As Southwest said in a statement: “A passenger was removed from the flight for poking her seatmate with a pen to stop him from snoring.”
The victim, Lenny Mordarski, said he awoke in pain after being stabbed repeatedly with a pen. He told journalists after landing: “Imagine being asleep and then being stung by bees.”
His friend Michael Sutton claimed he heard no snoring at all and that the woman overreacted.
“I guess his arm kind of brushed over to her and she just went nuts and started stabbing with her pen,” he said. “Everyone on the plane was happy afterward. They were glad to get rid of her.” He was full of praise for the cabin crew.
