Boston flights to launch from Copenhagen, Oslo and London
Norwegian has launched sales for new routes to Boston, from Copenhagen, Oslo and London. From Copenhagen, Norwegian already has long-haul routes to New York, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Bangkok and in November opens further routes to Las Vegas, St Croix and Puerto Rico.
“We see that a greater proportion of our passengers are American, which says that there is a need in the market. With several direct routes between the continents, even more Americans visit Europe and Scandinavia, which is positive for the economy and the tourism industry,” said CEO Bjørn Kjos.
The low-cost carrier emphasises that the new CPH-Boston route will have “very good connection options” for Jutland passengers traveling from Aalborg, with one hour and 50 minutes between the Aalborg plane landing in Copenhagen and the 787 Dreamliner heading to Boston.
Norwegian will fly between CPH and Boston once a week (Thursdays) from May 12, 2016, and tickets are on sale now. The routes from Oslo and London will have two and four weekly flights a week, respectively.
