More than 10 000 Nordic decision-makers and business travellers judged the performance of more than 100 airlines, hotel chains, travel agencies, car rental and payment companies with operations in Scandinavia in the Nordic Business Travel Barometer survey, based on 12 customer satisfaction parameters, for example price, service and availability.
The Business Travel Awards, with their origin in the Swedish part of the Nordic survey, were established in 2007 and are awarded annually during the travel fair TUR in Gothenburg. The awards are given in six categories, the winners in 2011 being: Best Domestic Airline: Malmö Aviation; Best Airline International: Lufthansa; Best Hotel Chain: Radisson Blu; Best Car Rental Company: Europcar; Best Travel Agency: Resia; Best Payment Service: Handelsbanken
