The Danish low-cost carrier Cimber Sterling, which declared bankruptcy two weeks ago, has revealed that the company will be divided up. The airline’s former management is to buy the commercial airline section of the business, with the aim of continuing to operate it under the name Cimber.
Cimber Air Maintenance and Cimber Air Data, meanwhile, will go to the former Ukrainian owner Mansvell Enterprises. Cyprus-based Mansvell is an offshore company owned by 47-year-old Ukrainian billionaire Ihor Kolomoisky.
