A prestigious trade journal, Restaurant Magazine, has named the highly acclaimed restaurant Frantzen/Lindeberg in Stockholm as one of the top 20 restaurants in the world. It is a new entry on the Top 50 list. However, the Copenhagen restaurant Noma tops the list for the second year running. The international success of Noma has undoubtedly boosted incoming arrivals to Copenhagen in recent years.
Elsewhere in the list are, at number 34, Fäviken in Järpen, Jämtland and, at 41, Mathias Dahlgren’s Matsalen in Stockholm’s Grand Hotel. As reported, both Frantzen/Lindeberg and Matsalen kept their status as two-Michelin-star restaurants this year.
“What constitutes ‘best’ is left to the judgment of […] trusted and well-travelled gourmets,” according to Restaurant Magazine.
