Investigation of Pakistan disaster launched

Bhoja Air Boeing 737 crashed near Islamabad during storm

Air accident investigators are looking through the wreckage of the passenger plane carrying 127 people that came down near Islamabad in Pakistan on Friday evening. The Bhoja Air Boeing 737 from Karachi crashed on approach during a thunderstorm with hail. The aircraft’s flight recorder has been found. Not all of the people on board have yet been identified. The airline’s chief executive has been told not to leave the country.
Apparently, the plane suddenly fell into a dive from a height of 880 metres. The plane crashed in the village of Hussain Abad, but there have been no reports so far of people being killed on the ground. The plane was 27 years old.
