Copenhagen Airports A/S (CPH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Kolber as its new HR Director. Thomas Kolber comes from a position as Vice President, Human Resources, Carlsberg Danmark A/S and Carlsberg’s head office.
In his former position, he held general HR responsibility for all Carlsberg employees in Denmark and for Carlsberg’s head office functions in Denmark and internationally.
Thomas Kolber is 42 years old and has been with Carlsberg for 16 years. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Copenhagen Business School. Thomas is married with two children aged seven and eight.
“We are in the process implementing a clear growth strategy in which efficiency, service and good employee competencies are crucial in the competition with other European airlines. I look forward to working with Thomas, and I’m confident he will contribute to creating results and realising our strategy,” said Thomas Woldbye, CEO of Copenhagen Airports.
“Copenhagen Airport plays a very important role for all of Denmark, and competent and committed employees are crucial to the airport’s success. I look forward to joining the management team of CPH and to helping develop the HR field even further,” said Thomas Kolber.
Thomas Kolber takes up his new position in the autumn, but it has not yet been decided exactly when his first working day at CPH will be. He replaces Peter Hansen who resigned as VP for Human Resources at the end of June.
