New James Bond film to be shot in India

tripsideways.com announce the 23rd movie in the Bond franchise, starring Daniel Craig as James Bond, is to be filmed in India.

If you’re heading on an adventure to India this year you could find yourself on the set of the latest James Bond film.

Filming in locations across India, the world’s most famous spy played by the handsome Daniel Craig, will be heading to destinations such as the Sarojini Nagar market in Delhi and the relatively unknown Navagam town near Ahmedabad. According to the Times of India, other possible locations could include the sun-kissed beaches of Goa and the business hub of Mumbai.

According to the Times of India, “The I&B ministry has given permission to India Take One Productions to shoot the latest Bond film.”

The 23rd movie in the Bond series, which is to be directed by Sam Mendes, will be released in 2012 and marks the 50th anniversary of the successful ‘DR No’ and the Bond franchise.

So if your dream is to be the next Bond girl, or you just want to hang out in the sun surrounded by Hollywood superstars, India looks set to be the destination of cool this winter.
