The Hanasaari Cultural Centre in Espoo will undergo an extensive refurbishment throughout 2016. By May 2017, Hanasaari will offer events and conference organisers a newly renovated and refreshed venue with a unique Nordic touch.
The renovations are being done to ensure future working conditions for the centre and to update the venue to present technical standards. This is one of the first projects in Finland where a state-owned building is being renovated in a manner that also restores its original 1970’s atmosphere. The surrounding natural environment will be preserved and the project does not include any new buildings.
Hanasaari is a well-known, reliable meeting place with a top-quality in-house restaurant, and a maritime hotel – all under the same roof. International guests appreciate Hanasaari’s responsive and flexible service and unique location by the sea on the border of Helsinki and Espoo. Thanks to excellent transport connections, you are only a few minutes’ drive from the centre of Helsinki by metro or car.
In a 2011 poll by TNS Gallup, Hanasaari was ranked as one of the best conference centres in Finland.
