Nordica and LOT launch services to Estonia and Poland
Nordica, the state-owned Estonian flag carrier, is now flying to Sweden’s second largest city Gothenburg seven times a week. The inaugural flight was on August 28.
The newly opened service will enliven travel between the two countries for both business and leisure travellers, according to the company’s marketing and communications chief, Toomas Uibo.
“It is the goal of Nordica to create fast and convenient flight connections for Estonians from Tallinn. We believe that Gothenburg is a good addition to the route network of our national airline and that the new connection will help popularise Estonia as an interesting travel destination among Swedes.”
The Tallinn-Gothenburg service will, during the high season, be operated by a Bombardier CRJ-900. The flights depart Tallinn before 07:00 and return after midnight. Until the end of October, children will fly for only the airport fees.
Meanwhile, Nordica and its Polish partner LOT have also opened a new direct route between Gothenburg and Warsaw.
