The new Pool Water Villas now open at Baros Maldives, the award-winning resort in the Indian Ocean, are attracting positive feedback from guests and partners. Although the five Pool Water Villas have been open only a few weeks, the feedback is very enthusiastic.
Guests are delighted with the pool (measuring 26 sq m) set into the large timber deck above the lagoon, where they can sun bathe and swim in complete privacy. Steps lead down from the deck for direct access to the lagoon for effortless swimming or snorkelling.
Guests have also commented on the pleasure of being able to have lunch, sunset cocktails or dinner under the moonlit sky, all by their own pool, arranged by the dedicated Villa Host who attends each Pool Water Villa.
The extra amenities and enhanced interior décor of these discreetly placed Pool Water Villas are also winning praise, as is the extra privacy of their location at the end of a boardwalk jetty, with an uninterrupted view of the ocean and horizon.
Another introduction to the facilities provided for guests at Baros Maldives that has met with enthusiastic approval, is the Gym. Now with new equipment such as a treadmill and recumbent bike with inbuilt internet and television, it is attracting guests keen to follow their daily exercise regime from its opening time of 5.00am.
With a glass-panelled view of a tropical garden, the gym offers an exclusive retreat for practising personal fitness programmes or just trying a few exercises in a serene setting.
The resort, on the small private island of Baros, just 25 minutes by speedboat from the Maldives International Airport, has 75 beach and water villas of classic, natural elegance, a beautiful reef and eco-diving programmes, as well as gourmet-standard cuisine.
