Passengers can travel the world without needing to leave the cabin
MSC Cruises has opened sales for its second world cruise, setting sail in 2020. Featuring slightly less destinations than the 2019 cruise announced last year, it calls at 43 destinations in 23 countries.
Sales have just opened for MSC Voyagers Club members, but everyone else will have to wait until November 23 before they can book their tickets.
Travelling the world without needing to leave the cabin comes courtesy of MSC Magnifica, with a 116-night voyage calling at far-flung destinations such as Peru, Papua New Guinea, Bali and India.
Guests embarking from Rome (Civitavecchia), Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona on January 4, 5, 6 and 7, respectively, will cross five continents on a three-month sailing.
Eight destinations include an overnight stay in port, giving guests up to two days to experience local attractions and cuisines.
New destinations this time include Ushuaia in Argentina, the southernmost city in the world; Easter Island with its mysterious carved-stone figurines; Darwin in Australia with its beaches, lagoons and wildlife; Valparaiso, Chile, famed for its small coloured houses on coastal hills; the bustling city of Mumbai; and Salalah in Oman with its waterfalls, exotic flora and unusual animals.
