Themed sailings to the Caribbean on the Ultra-Modern MSC Divina. Last-minute deals still available on cruises from Miami to the Caribbean for Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year
MSC Divina, one of MSC Cruises’ newest and most ultra-modern cruise ships, returns to Miami in November and will begin sailing year-round to the Caribbean – offering the perfect getaway for travelers looking for a memorable and relaxing way to spend the holidays with friends and family.
“MSC Cruises is a family-owned company and we understand how important quality time with family and friends is, particularly during the holidays,” said Ken Muskat, executive vice president of sales, PR & guest services for MSC Cruises. “We work year-round to create the best vacation experience possible for our guests and during the holiday season that means we take extra care to make sure that our guests are able to enjoy holiday themed festivities and create memorable moments without worrying about any of the planning.”
Highlights of MSC Divina holiday celebrations include:
Hanukkah – Dec. 5h departure to Charlotte Amalie, San Juan and Great Stirrup Cay:
For those celebrating Hanukkah, MSC Divina will host a nightly Menorah lighting as well as serve traditional Hanukkah foods. A large menorah will also be on display in the main atrium. Special kosher meals can be ordered in advance. Prices start at $788 per person* (note: this cruise is almost sold out! Only balcony staterooms still available).
Christmas – Dec. 19th departure to Charlotte Amalie, San Juan and Nassau:
During Christmas, MSC Divina will be decked out in the best traditional trimmings, with sparkling lights, shimmering decorations, festive Christmas trees, and a new spectacular gingerbread village created by MSC Cruises’ pastry chefs. Adding to the festivities, guests will enjoy traditional Christmas carols; a brand new Christmas evening show; Christmas-themed cooking classes, arts & crafts, and parades; a visit by Santa Claus who will present a gift to every child on board; seasonal Christmas movies played on an outdoor jumbo screen throughout the week; and special Christmas menus honoring the culinary traditions of the holiday. A Christmas mass will also be available onboard. Prices start at $549 per person*.
New Year’s – Dec. 26th departure to Falmouth, Georgetown, Cozumel, Belize City, and Freeport:
During this 8-night cruise, MSC Divina will help guests ring in the New Year right. The festivities will start with a special New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner, before guests head up to the pool deck for the ship’s annual New Year’s Eve dance party, complete with themed decorations, a countdown to midnight, and champagne. For those traveling with kids, MSC Cruises is extending the kids club hours and offering babysitting in the kids club for free so that parents can enjoy New Year’s celebrations. Prices start at $1049 per person*.
For travelers that like to plan ahead, guests that book early can get special deals on 2016 themed cruises on MSC Divina including sailings on President’s Day/Valentine’s Day (February 13 departure), Easter (March 26 departure) and Mother’s Day (May 7 departure).
