Movenpick Resort Taba fosters responsible practices, such as curbing energy and water consumption to a minimum, to preserve the environment. The property conducts various projects on alternative green energy sources and water conservation. Waste volume, weight and reduction goals are specified, garbage is being segregated per the hotel’s waste management policy. Packaging is reduced to a minimum and local suppliers are given preference. Awareness among guests is promoted through a comprehensive communications strategy, which includes information on natural surroundings, local cultures, cultural heritage and appropriate behavior while visiting heritage sites.
