Swiss carrier ups frequencies in winter season 2014-15
Due to what it says has been the success of flights from Stockholm, Gothenburg and Oslo to Geneva, Swiss International Air Lines has decided to deepen its investment in the Scandinavian markets.
For the upcoming winter season, until 28 March 2015, Swiss will operate up to three weekly flights from Oslo to Geneva as well as one weekly flight from Gothenburg to Geneva. From Stockholm, Geneva will continuously be served three times a week with “an improved schedule”. The Copenhagen-Geneva service, which started in April 2014, will be served five times weekly.
Swiss already operates daily flights from Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo to Zurich. The additional Geneva winter flights are targeted at ski travellers. The airline transports one pair of skis or a snowboard for free if passengers travel with checked baggage.
