MICE and corporate event proves effective


Survey shows IT&CMA and CTW to be effective platform

A survey of buyers who attended IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific in 2012 reveals that close to 70% have confirmed purchases with exhibitors within six months of the event. The total value of all purchases made so far is estimated at over US$45 million.
More sales are expected to close in the coming six months, which could bring the aggregate purchase figure to more than $120 million. Billed as the world’s only double-bill event for MICE and corporate travel, IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific has therefore proven to be an effective industry platform for business generation, its organisers say.
Delegates can expect several new implementations to this year’s show, scheduled for October 1-3 at the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, Bangkok, that will further harness opportunities for business generation. One new initiative is the Online Diary facility that enables delegates to complete up to 100% of their appointments before arrival.
