Asia’s leading brands win awards at World Travel Awards this week

Malaysia Airlines overcame tough competition from Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Thai Airways and Air China to win Asia’s Leading Airline at a VIP gala ceremony hosted by the World Travel Awards in Bangkok, Thailand on September 28. Korean Air was voted Asia’s Leading Airline First Class, while Bangkok Airways won the award for Asia’s Leading Regional Airline. Air New Zealand was voted Australasia’s Leading Airline.
Voted Asia’s Leading Hotel was the Trident Gurgaon and the new luxury hotel Oberoi Gurgaon collected Asia’s Leading Luxury Hotel. Bangkok was named Asia’s Leading Meetings & Conference Destination and India saw off competition from Bali, Korea and Sri Lanka to win Asia’s Leading
