Passenger: “It never happened when the airline flew its former planes”
Estonian Air customers have complained about luggage problems at the airline that appear to have been caused by the new Embraer aircraft that the airline recently began operating. Passengers have reached their destinations only to find that their bags had been left behind due to weight restrictions. One passenger flying from Tallinn to Kiev told the news site Delfi: “We came off the plane in Kiev and started to wait for our luggage. There were many passengers like me who found out that the airline had left their luggage in Tallinn.”
In Kiev, the airline told them that it had had to leave some of the luggage behind because the plane was full and was carrying fuel for the return trip.
The passenger said he wasted a day at the airport writing a missing luggage report and waiting for his luggage to appear. It eventually arrived the next day. “It never happened when Estonian Air was still flying its former planes,” he claimed.
