Strike by cabin staff started at 05:00 Tuesday

Lufthansa cabin crew who are members of the union UFO are striking extensively on flights to and from Berlin-Tegel airport, Munich and Frankfurt. The strike by the cabin staff started at Berlin at 05:00 Tuesday morning and is lasting for eight hours, to 13:00. Excluded are cabin staff based in Delhi and Bangkok. Staff are also striking at Frankfurt from 06:00 to 14:00 CET and Munich from 13:00 to 22:00 CET.
There is no effect on Danish routes from Berlin. The flights between Berlin-Tegel and Copenhagen are a collaboration between SAS and Lufthansa. It is SAS that operates flights and these are not expected to be affected by the strike. However, Lufthansa flies between Berlin-Tegel and Stockholm’s Arlanda airport. Here it initially appears that the morning flights between Berlin and Stockholm are not being operated.
