This could be one of the biggest strikes to hit the airline

Lufthansa has cancelled 3,800 flights during the period April 2 to 4 – almost all its operations – because of a planned strike by pilots. This could be one of the biggest strikes ever to hit the German airline, Reuters reports.

As previously reported, Vereiningung Cockpit, a union representing most of the airline’s 5,400 pilots, is calling for a three-day strike from April 2 in an argument over early retirement.

Flights to and from the Nordic region are of course included, such as 45 flights to and from airports in Copenhagen and Billund.
