The hotel has been selected to host the first international Baltic Strategic Shared Services Conference on 12-13 October 2016. The 5-star venue, ideally located in the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town of Lithuania’s capital, will welcome 70 expert practitioners in the field of outsourcing and shared services from all over Europe to discuss the business challenges they collectively face.
Organisations and governments in the region have understood the importance of collaborating together to grow the industry as a whole. The event is endorsed by Vilnius’ Mayor Remigijus Šimašius, who will deliver the conference’s opening speech.
“We are pleased to welcome and host the Baltic Strategic Shared Services Conference at the Kempinski Hotel Cathedral Square and hope it will be an exciting experience with high-level networking, debates, and sharing and learning opportunities for our guests,” said General Manager Kees Heuveling.
“The Baltic Strategic Shared Services Conference has been developed with the support of SSC leaders across the region to encourage networking and the exchange of ideas in a time of fierce competition, not only regionally but also internationally,” added María Mateos Rubio, conference director. “After researching with the main stakeholders, we have discovered that most of the challenges that SSC managers face in the region can be put into four categories. This is the reason why we have decided to bring the SSC’s Four Strategic Pillars Concept to Lithuania later this year”.
