The Kaunas Tourism Information Centre and Convention Bureau has participated in CONVENE since the inaugural edition of the event in 2013, and has been a close partner ever since. Having been part of CONVENE since its inception, the Kaunas tourism centre and convention bureau have witnessed the growth of the event first-hand and have had the opportunity to make significant business connections while gaining exposure within the Baltic Sea Region’s events and meetings industry.
Having secured their spot on the exhibition floor of CONVENE 2017, The Kaunas Tourism Information Centre and Convention Bureau is excited to continue promoting their city as one that offers unique solutions and support for meetings and events organisers. Their participation in past CONVENE events has helped them make new contacts that have directly resulted in new business opportunities. One such example of this is the 29th Symposium of the International Council for Physical Activity and Fitness Research, which is being held in Kaunas this 23-27 August.
In addition to this, CONVENE serves as a platform to help Kaunas promote their familiarisation tours, which they will host once again following CONVENE 2017. The value and benefits of participating in CONVENE have not gone unnoticed by other local suppliers, who are also encouraged to exhibit at CONVENE 2017.
One of the new Kaunas-based suppliers joining CONVENE for the first time in 2017 is the Park Inn by Radisson Kaunas. The Hotel’s Conference and Event Centre, which covers 1,400 square metres and boasts 8 multifunctional rooms, is the biggest in Kaunas. The Park Inn by Radisson Kaunas hopes to benefit from the exposure CONVENE can bring to it, and is confident the event will help them attract new customers. With exhibitors from Kaunas already set to take part in CONVENE 2017, others are encouraged to come put Kaunas and the Baltic Sea Region on the meetings industry map.
