Tokyo-Helsinki was scheduled to start 25 February
The ongoing problems with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft has forced Japan Airlines to postpone the launch of its nonstop service between Tokyo Narita and Helsinki, originally scheduled to start on 25 February.
The airline says in a press release that a rescheduled date for the opening of the route will be announced at a later time. Customers with confirmed reservations on the affected flights are now being informed about alternative arrangements. In the release, JAL “apologises to its customers and related parties for the inconvenience and concerns caused as a result of recent issues with the 787 fleet”.
