Investment in Aviation summit website launched

United Arab Emirates (UAE) General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has launched the official website for the upcoming Aviation Investment Summit which will take place on the 9th of November 2015 during Dubai Airshow.
The Summit is organized under the patronage of UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of GCAA, H.E Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, to promote investment opportunities and attract foreign direct investment (FDI) in the local civil aviation industry.
“Aviation Investment Summit website is the go-to source for investors and business owners interested in exploring the profitable opportunities in UAE civil aviation market,” said GCAA Director General, H.E Saif Al Suwaidi. “It not only describes all the details of the Summit but also provides insights on the excellent opportunities available at the event to promote business collaboration,” Al Suwaidi added.
The website www.aviationinvestmentsummit.ae provides latest studies and figures on the aviation industry and the overall economy in UAE. It also includes the agenda and the list of guest speakers. Registration to the summit could be made online through the specified link in the website.
Laila Ali Bin Hareb Al Muhairi, Assistant Director General for Strategy and International Affairs, highlighted that the UAE civil aviation industry has continued to benefit from the safe-haven status amid regional instability. She added that Aviation Investment Summit is the optimal platform to facilitate networking between investors and business owners. “With the launch of the website, participants can register for the event from the comfort of their home or office, and plan well ahead for the event,” said Hareb.
A number of studies preceding the summit identified the following key areas of investment opportunities in the market: maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO), training and education – vocational and academic, ground services – ground handling (passengers and cargo), catering, FBOs, infrastructure, aircraft hangar services, airport development and aircraft recycling/decommissioning.
