India eases visa rules for Danes

Tourists in groups can get collective admission

The Indian government has relaxed its visa rules. Danish tourists can immediately benefit from easier travel to India, the Indian Embassy in Copenhagen reports.

Danish tourists travelling in groups of four or more can now have collective admission for up to 60 days, through a travel agency that provides the Indian authorities with the details.

The authorities need, among other things, a complete list of the travellers, visa applications and a description of the purpose of the journey. In addition, the travel company must guarantee that none of the tourists will leave the group during the visit.
