Struggling Indian carrier cut out due to non-payment

The International Air Transport Association has taken the step of suspending the struggling Indian carrier Kingfisher Airlines from its clearing house because of non-payment of dues.
“This is because the airline did not settle their ICH [IATA Clearing House] account within the stipulated deadline,” Albert Tjoeng, a spokesman for the airline industry association, said. “Kingfisher’s participation in the ICH will be reinstated after the airline fulfils the ICH requirements.”
