Online travel agency offers Skip the Line tickets
If you are among the more than 6.5 million tourists expected to visit the Colosseum in Rome in 2016, you may be interested in a scheme allowing you to skip the painfully long queues.
The estimated waiting time at popular sites like the Colosseum and Roman Forum can be up to three hours. But the online travel agency Select Italy is offering Skip the Line tickets guaranteeing speedy admission to the city’s most popular sites.
Skip the Line tickets reserve admission at a reserved time, avoiding the general lines, to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel, and the Uffizi Gallery in Florence,
“In order to avoid peak crowds at popular sites, we advise to book an early or late reservation time,” advises Justin Anderson, Select Italy’s manager of operations & client services. “Check the museum hours and plan your visit accordingly.”
The company’s website lists information on many Italian museums and off-the-beaten-track attractions, including tips, tickets and opening hours.
