Grand Palace Hotel in Riga launches new design


One of the prestigious 5-star hotels in Latvia – Grand Palace Hotel launches new interior design of rooms and suites.

All 56 rooms and suites at the Grand Palace Hotel are designed by the interior designer Andrew Martin in colour-balanced tones, all featuring contemporary melange of idyllic surroundings, 24-hour room service, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi internet and air-conditioning.

The dominant colour is grey and it symbolizes presence of inconspicuous elegance, combined with shades of pink, creating sophisticated and at the same time a positive atmosphere. In all the rooms are placed stylish charcoal grey chest of drawers with stud detailing, leather handles and black leather trim, produced by the Howard Mackenzy.

As a special feature accent is wall painting, where in a specific technology is portrayed White Wagtail – Latvian national bird.

All rooms and suites features the latest generation energy-efficient LED flat screen TV’s, free high-speed Wi-Fi internet and king size or twin beds.

Hotel is located in the historical Old Town of Riga. It is surrounded by prestigious UNESCO World Heritage monuments, central to major tourism objects, shopping streets, offices, embassies and banks. Originally built in 1877 as the Central Bank of Latvia, now reconstructed as an elegant hotel, it offers a place of warmth and comfort accompanied by attentive and impeccable service.

The hotel is the only member of “The Leading Hotels of the World” and “Virtuoso” in Latvia and this year has been voted as Latvia’s Leading Business Hotel 2014 for 9 years by the body of World Travel Awards; winner of the Seven Stars and Stripes Award.
