This year’s Meetings and Incentive Travel magazine organised the annual International Awards for Conferences and Incentives at Battersea Evolution on the 19th March, 2013.
This event is a charity gala whose proceeds are given to the humanitarian organization, Save the Children, which is under the auspices of HRH Princess Anne.
The event showcases companies that have excelled and contributed to excellent handling services in the meeting and incentive travel industry, including hotels, airlines, convention centres and destination management companies.
This year the award for “Best Destination Management Company” (Best DMC) was awarded to the Greek company Vista Events. Vista Events is the only company worldwide to have won this award for seven consecutive years.
The Director of Sales & Marketing of Vista Events, Rena Gkini, who received the award, said: It is a great honour for our company to have won this award, especially as clients of the industry are voting for it. It gives us the satisfaction that the constant efforts we make to improve the level of our services are vindicated.
