Germany Tourism marks “fall of the wall”

Tourist board launches Instagram competition

Germany Tourism is launching an Instagram competition today, and a “movie roadshow” in Sweden is timed for November 4-5.

This year marks 25 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall. The German National Tourist Board is celebrating this momentous event with an Instagram Photo Contest as well as a movie roadshow in Stockholm and Gothenburg under the theme Fall of the Wall.

Instagram competition winners get two nights in a double room at the Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz or the Ibis Leipzig, including flights for two people to Berlin with airberlin and rail travel for two people in second class from Berlin to Leipzig with Deutsche Bahn.
