Germania, one of Germany’s longest established airlines, is training its pilots at Lufthansa Flight Training again after a two-year break.
The airline, which is based in Berlin, will use LFT’s 737NG and Airbus A320 full-flight simulators in Frankfurt, Berlin, Essen and Munich for the recurrent training of its cockpit crews. The two companies signed a corresponding agreement in May 2014. Germania and LFT have thus enjoyed a 15-year partnership.
“From Bremen in the north to Munich in the south, our cockpit crews are now stationed at numerous airports across the country. With its multitude of locations, Lufthansa Flight Training always has a simulator near our crew bases. In this way, we are able to deploy and train our employees more efficiently,” says Oliver Pawel, Chief Commercial Officer of Germania.
Lufthansa Flight Training is pleased to continue this successful collaboration as well: “We are very proud that we have been able to win back Germania as an LFT customer after two years,” says Christoph Lang, Head of Marketing & Sales at LFT. “This confirms our philosophy of focusing on the needs of our customers and their flight operation requirements.”
